Community Outreach
We at Bethel United Church of Christ support local community organizations and families in need. Currently, our focus into the community includes: 

God's Meal Bread

• God’s Meal Barrel in Hanover

      Monthly donation of food items

 

Freedom Path Ministries

Hoffman Homes

• Christmas presents for the youth

Members of Bethel purchase a gift for either a boy or girl

Operation Welcome Home Maryland

• This program is designed to meet returning military personnel at the Baltimore or Washington area airports and present a bag of "goodies" to that hero. Children and adults of Bethel spent Sunday afternoon, October 23rd making cards for these bags.

 

 

 

 


Members of the Bethel UCC travel to Hoffman Home for Children in Gettysburg each Christmas season to assist in the wrapping of the presents donated by the community.
