Bible Verse of the Week
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)
Looking ahead to our special service on Sunday October 17th @ 9AM
Andrea Adams will be portraying another woman from her book "Encountering Christ" stories of 12 women who walked and talked to Jesus.
This special lady is known as Phoebe and her story is highlighted in Romans 8:28-38; 16:1-2. An intriguing story of Prevailing faith that Andrea brings to life.
Thanks to all who attended our special event "Birds of a Feather" on August 8th. The event was a combination of Music including Jazz and Gospel lead by our talented Music Director, Molly and her husband Nathan Morgan, with Jazz group from Lancaster and our Choir. Artist organized by Dixie Brillhart, displayed their creations. Karen Lippy did a nature presentation and poetry readings. A huge thank you to Dixie and Molly for orchestrating this event and to all the participants.
The Chicken BBQ, Quilt Raffle and Bake Sale on September 12th was a huge success. A huge thank you to all who participated. As usual Gary Parish's expertise provided high quality BBQ chicken.
{See our Special Event and Fundraiser Page for details}
